
To qualify for the Educator Reward Program, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Current School Employment: Must be employed by a school, district, or accredited educational institution at the time of closing (employment verification must be provided).
- Primary Residence Requirement: The transaction must involve the sale and/or purchase of your primary residence.
- MTSIR Agent Representation: If you are currently working with an MTSIR agent, the agent must be informed of your registration and agree to your participation in the program. If you are NOT already working with a MTSIR agent, you may be introduced to one to assist you in your buying and/or selling needs.
- Not Bound By Another Brokerage Agreement: At registration, you must not be bound by an exclusive buyer’s agency or listing agreement with a non-MTSIR broker (you can participate if and when such an agreement ends)
- One Reward Per Transaction: Only one reward will be issued per qualifying transaction and cannot be combined with any other reward, promotion, credit, or referral incentive.
- Lease Transactions: Lease transactions are not eligible for the reward
- The is available in Texas and applies only to the purchase and/or sale of your home using a program-approved MTSIR agent.
- Cash-Back Credit will be equal to 20% of the gross commission received by MTSIR. If a lender is involved and restricts the credit, it will be the maximum amount allowed by the lender not to exceed 20%.
- The credit applies only to the employee’s side of the transaction.
- All real estate commissions are negotiable.
